Light has a significant impact on the colour of a product. Therefore, view the sample in both daylight and artificial light in the room where you will place the product. Also, compare it at different times of the day. In the morning, for example, the light is different than in the afternoon.
View the sample from a distance of 1 metre. The colour often appears lighter and more saturated from a distance than when viewed up close.
